Bring Your Voice & Sing
As part of Choral Exchange
Choral Exchange aims to bring to life a choir of 200 people in order
to perform a large-scale choral piece for the Royal Exchange Hall.
The Hall was originally built as Manchester's Stock Exchange in 1809 and closed its doors in the late 1960s.
In 1976 the Royal Exchange Theatre was established and sustains a year-round programme of performances.
The choir we wish to bring together is a celebration of the myriad voices within the city of Manchester.
This new piece takes the language of the stock exchange & stock market -
the Royal Exchange's original purpose -
as a starting point for a new adventure into vocal sound and the generation of a new
Hyper-Graphic Score.
You do not have to have experience in singing in choirs -
all we require is that you have a commitment to bringing your voice to this choir,
and an openness to new ways of working.
If this interests you in any way please contact us using the Contact Form Below.
Please tell us something of your experiences of singing.
Best Wishes
